This notice is provided to comply with California Proposition 65 (“The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986”). Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide a “clear and reasonable” warning before knowingly and intentionally exposing individuals in California to chemicals listed by the state as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity.
Winnie Industries supplies products used in electrical, datacom, and low‑voltage applications. These products may include materials such as plastics, metals, coatings, adhesives, or other components that can contain chemicals on the Proposition 65 list. Because Proposition 65 includes more than 900 listed chemicals and exposure levels vary by application, it is not practical or scientifically feasible to test every product configuration for every listed substance. As a result, Winnie Industries provides a general warning to ensure compliance with California requirements.

Winnie Industries does not apply Proposition 65 warning labels to individual products or packaging. Instead, we provide a general Proposition 65 warning statement on our website, accessible to customers and distributors, including those located in or shipping to California. This approach is intended to meet the “clear and reasonable” warning requirement for our product lines and distribution model.

Proposition 65 is a California law requiring businesses to inform consumers about potential exposures to chemicals that the state has identified as causing cancer or reproductive harm. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean a product is unsafe.
